DSC Provides Merisant With Supply Chain and Transportation Management Services
DSC operates customer Merisant’s business out of their consolidation locations

Chicago, Illinois (September 3, 2008) – DSC Logistics, an integrated logistics and supply chain management company headquartered in Des Plaines, Illinois, has been awarded a three-year contract to provide Supply Chain Management and Transportation Management services to Merisant, a worldwide leader in the marketing of low-calorie tabletop sweeteners, out of DSC's Logistics Centers in Mira Loma, California; Des Plaines, Illinois; Allentown, Pennsylvania; and McDonough, Georgia.

DSC is handling Merisant's Equal Sweetener brands product arriving from their manufacturing plants in Illinois and Mexico and shipping to retailers including Publix, Albertson's, Super Valu, Meijer and Winn Dixie. DSC is providing all inbound and outbound transportation services, as well as Transportation Management (including freight tendering, freight bill auditing and carrier selection). As a participant in DSC’s food and consumer products consolidation program, which provides customers a reduction in transportation expense through consolidation with other DSC food industry customers, DSC is consolidating loads for Merisant at their Logistics Centers.
