DSC Logistics Adds Dr. Nancy Nix to Advisory Board of Directors
Addition of Dr. Nix Expands Supply Chain Experience

Chicago, Illinois (January 3, 2007) – DSC Logistics, a leading supply chain management company with a nationwide network, announced that it has added Dr. Nancy W. Nix to its Advisory Board of Directors. Dr. Nixis the director of the Supply and Value Chain Center (SVCC) and associate professor of Supply Chain Practice in the Neeley School of Business at TCU in Fort Worth, Texas.

During Dr. Nix’s tenure as director of the SVCC, she has established close working relationships with multiple companies and generated funding for the development of TCU’s supply chain programs. She led the development of MBA and undergraduate curriculum in supply chain management, and hosted multiple Executive Forums and conferences featuring supply chain experts discussing leading-edge practices. Today, TCU’s Supply and Value Chain programs are recognized among the leading programs in the U.S. Dr. Nix teaches Global Supply Chain Management, Supply Chain Information Technology, and Supply Chain Strategy courses at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. She also teaches the Executive MBA International Business class, which includes visits with companies and economic development organizations in Hong Kong, Shenzhen, Shanghai, and Beijing. She received an MBA Faculty Award in 2005 and an award for innovation in curriculum development in 2006.

Previously with the DuPont Company, Dr. Nix worked in manufacturing, logistics, procurement and customer service. She also spent one and a half years as vice president of logistics for Reliance Industries Ltd., in Mumbai, India. Dr. Nix is an active member of the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) and the Institute for Supply Management (ISM) and currently serves as Chair of the Research Strategies Committee and as a member of the Board of Directors of CSCMP.
