DSC Logistics Promotes Michael Weinstock to Senior Vice President, Operations
Weinstock Leads DSC's Drive for Operational Excellence

Chicago, Illinois (January 4, 2007)—DSC Logistics, a leading supply chain management company with a nationwide network, announced the promotion of Michael Weinstock to senior vice president, operations. Weinstock will be responsible for providing both strategic and tactical leadership to the company and its integrated operations to ensure flawless execution and customer satisfaction. He will also provide leadership for the identification and development of expanded capabilities to meet customer’s needs. Weinstock is a member of the DSC Executive Team and Customer Leadership Team; he leads DSC’s Supply Chain Council.  

In the past year, Weinstock has been instrumental in partnering with Customer Care to grow relationships with existing customers. He has driven operations excellence by establishing a company culture that utilizes metrics to increase performance and raise service levels, therefore resulting in continual improvement, customer satisfaction and operational accountability.

Weinstock joined DSC in 1996 as general manager of the Colonial Heights, Virginia, Logistics Center. As group general manager in 1998, he focused the teams in Colonial Heights, Huntersville and Greensboro, North Carolina, on impeccable execution and operational consistency, achieving ISO 9000 registration in all three locations. In 2001, Weinstock assumed additional responsibilities, overseeing operations in Jackson, TN; Kenner, LA; Columbus, OH; and the Mid-Atlantic Logistics Centers including the Allentown, PA, campus. In 2005 he was named Vice President, Operations Excellence.
