Michael Weinstock

Executive Vice President, Operations, for DSC Logistics, one of the nation’s leading supply chain management companies. Michael leads DSC’s Supply Chain Council. His focus is on flawless execution across all services to meet DSC’s customers’ business goals. Under his management, DSC has developed Lead Logistics Partnerships with key customers, experienced growth in both Value-Added Services and Transportation, implemented a continual improvement process with standardized measures designed to increase performance and raise service levels, and strengthened collaboration with and across DSC’s customers.

Michael joined DSC in 1996 as General Manager of the Colonial Heights, VA, Logistics Center. As Group General Manager in 1998, he focused the Huntersville and Greensboro, NC, Logistics Centers’ teams on flawless execution and operational consistency, achieving ISO 9000 registration in all three locations. Named Regional Vice President in 2000, Michael had accountability for customer satisfaction, performance excellence and profitability for the integrated Logistics Centers in Greensboro, Huntersville and Colonial Heights. Michael and his team have led DSC’s tobacco operations in achieving six sigma performance levels. In 2001, Michael assumed additional responsibilities, overseeing operations in Jackson, TN; Kenner, LA; Columbus, OH; and the Mid-Atlantic Logistics Centers including the Allentown, PA, campus. When Michael was promoted to Senior Vice President, Operations, in 2007 he drove Putting the Customer First! throughout the organization, and established an open culture to drive continual improvement, customer satisfaction and operational accountability.

Michael began his career with Maas Brothers Department Stores in distribution positions, and then as Director at Lazarus Department Stores. He then joined Thomas & Betts Corporation, a Fortune 500 worldwide manufacturer and distributor of electrical components, as Plant Manager of Distribution. Michael received his Bachelor of Science in Management from Arkansas State University.
