Ken Heller is Senior Vice President, Supply Chain Excellence, for DSC Logistics, one of the nation’s leading supply chain management companies. Ken provides leadership to DSC’s Engineering, Business Process Integration and APEX teams, and provides operational responsibility for the Carol Stream, IL, Logistics Center. In addition, Ken leads the transportation team in building on and improving DSC’s current capabilities through process improvement and the development of new strengths. He manages the transportation team on service and growth with existing and new customers, through supply chain optimization, solutions development and continual improvement.
Previously as Vice President, Supply Chain Excellence, Ken was responsible for developing and implementing Best Practices for continual improvement and flawless execution across DSC operations. He provided management and thought leadership for engineering, business process integration—including start-up teams that ensure the successful integration of customer’s solutions into DSC’s business processes—and process management. Ken was also responsible for DSC operations in Joliet, IL, and Mira Loma I, II, and Tracy, CA. Ken provided leadership to DSC’s Labor Management initiative and resultant cost savings programs.
Ken began his career with Kraft Foods, and joined DSC in 1994. He then spent 11 years with DSC holding positions of increasing responsibility in both sales and operations and finally Vice President, Business Process Integration. Ken left DSC to join Arrowstream, Inc. a Chicago-based transportation consolidator, as Vice President. He then rejoined DSC in 2007 as Vice President, Supply Chain Excellence. Ken received his Bachelor of Science in Finance from Indiana University, and his Master of Science in Business Logistics from Penn State.
