David Copeland is Chief Financial Officer for DSC Logistics, one of the nation’s leading supply chain management companies. David joined DSC in 2007 as Vice President and Controller, took on responsibility for Finance in 2008, and was named CFO in 2010. Under his leadership, the company has achieved consistently strong financial performance through a combination of revenue growth, improved financial processes, and a focus on efficiency and productivity.
As a member of DSC’s Executive Leadership Team, David collaborates at the corporate level and with operational leaders of DSC’s nationwide network, as well as supporting customers’ profitability and growth. By driving continual improvement efforts in accounting and financial management processes, David contributes to DSC’s overall health and stability as a company and supports standards of efficiency and productivity in the field. He also is responsible for treasury operations and risk management, and advises DSC’s business managers on financial matters and their strategic implications.
Prior to DSC, David was Market Controller at Equity Office Properties Trust. His background also includes experience as Assistant Comptroller for the Chicago Housing Authority, Economic Development Volunteer for the U.S. Peace Corps in Kazakhstan, Accounting Manager for Crate & Barrel, and Senior Auditor for Deloitte & Touche. David received his Bachelor of Science in Accountancy with High Honors from the University of Illinois, Urbana, and is a Certified Public Accountant.
