Ed Bowersox is Chief Customer Officer for DSC Logistics. Ed has responsibility for Operations and Strategic Partnerships, guiding their focus on preparing the organization for continued growth, bringing strategy and innovation to customers, driving best practices throughout Operations and Strategic Partnerships, and elevating DSC’s consultative approach.
Ed joined DSC as Senior Vice President, Customer Strategy in 2015, with responsibility for key customer relationships, working at senior levels of DSC’s customers’ organizations to enhance and deliver on their supply chain strategies. Under his leadership, DSC further implemented and customized its Strategic Partnership framework, focusing on delivery of value to customers through cross-functional engagement and commitment to shared objectives. Ed was named CCO in 2016.
Prior to DSC, Ed was Senior Global Director of Global Product Supply of Kimberly-Clark (K-C), where he led global supply chain transformation initiatives and large-scale operating and manufacturing facilities. During his career at K-C, Ed worked extensively with key customers, distributors and 3PLs to drive innovative operational improvements. An established Lean change leader, Ed integrated North American business strategies with expansion plans in developing countries to enable global growth, and drove enhancements in supply chain capabilities, business performance and customer satisfaction.
Ed received a Bachelor of Science degree from Michigan State University with an emphasis in Packaging Engineering and Logistics. He is a frequent speaker at MSU, CSCMP and WERC.
